You are a short walk away from international standard restaurants, cafes, cinemas, clubs and designer shopping at Gunwharf Quays. Go to the beach on the other side of the wall - or stroll to the Southsea Esplanade and beachfront - only a few minutes walk.

The Sally Port Inn is only a few yards from the sea wall at the Portsmouth Harbour entrance and the extension of the Southsea promenade. It is opposite the old Portsmouth Cathedral of St Thomas of Cantebury with its rich green surrounds. The Sally Port Gate is close by. This is the archway through the sea wall defences through which naval officers "sallied forth" to be taken to their ships.
